Arsenal are likely to display their interest in Karim Mostafa Benzema, Real Madrid attacker this summer.

Daily Star reported that, Los Blancos are scheduling a transfer to sign Robert Lewandowski – who is valued at around £80 million - from Bayern Munich and if Lewandowski could be signed to the Los Blancos side this summer, his arrival at Real possibly will signal an end for Benzema with the Spanish giants.

The Frenchman has been known to have been a long-time admirer of Benzema, having make an attempt to sign him to the Emirates when he was still at Lyon before his transfer to Real Madrid. Even while he as the Santiago Bernabeu, the rumors linking the 28-year-old striker have refused to fade off.

Arsenal, Man City and Man United have also shown interest in Lewandowski. Man City are hoping in their coming new boss Pep Guardiola – who is currently the Polish Striker coach at Bayern – will take advantage of the relationship between them and assist in securing a deal with him.

Arrival of Real into the race of signing Lewandowski might hinder the move. Wenger is considering bringing in a high-rated striker to the Emirates to strengthen the Arsenal’s attack that has gone blunted. Among the Premier League top four, the gunners has the fewest goal of the teams.

Wenger has recognized the Polish striker as of the possible striker he might sign to achieve his goal. Involvement of Real Madrid in signing the former Dortmund forward mean the Frenchman may, in turn, totally lay off his hands on Lewandowski who has been his long-term target.

Despite the Striker little appearance this season, Benzema has continued to be marvelously effective on the pitch and combination of Sanchez, Ozil and Benzema at Arsenal frontline will incredibly strengthen the attack of the team which has gone blunt for Benzema has good ability in scoring and providing assists as wells.

In 2009, Benzema was signed to Real Madrid for a fee worth €35 million. He has won with the Los Blancos the Champions League, Copa Del Rey La Liga titles.

Base on Emanuele Giulianeli, an Italian Journalist reports that Benzema was intensely linked with Arsenal last summer and they are willing to bid for him again should he be available for a move from his present club.

Although, despite proves showing that the French striker has been experiencing little off-field issues during his 2015-16 reign at Real, he still yet, remains to be one among the profitable striker in Europe.

Benzema formation with Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez performances would unquestionably be an upgrade on Walcott and Giroud at the front line confidently hopefully Arsenal could proceed in finalizing the signing Karim Benzema to the Emirates this summer.
