The team Manager, Arsene Wenger has spent big, finally he
will have the leading presence in the central midfield, which he has missed since
the days of Patrick Vieira.
As per the reports from Arsenal, the team manager give
details that the North London club has been eyeing the 23-year-old midfielder
for some time.
Manager Arsene Wenger has spent big, but he may finally have
the dominant presence in central midfield he has missed since the days of
Patrick Vieira. In the intervening time, Xhaka who graduated from FC Basel
youth has voiced his excitement at joining the Gunners outfit via Arsenal:
“I’m very proud to be joining Arsenal.”
“I cannot wait to move to London, represent this special club,
and play in the Premier League. I will give everything to help Arsenal win
trophies and make the fans happy.”
Xhaka is a natural boss on the field of play, having secured
the Gladbach captaincy at young age.
The 23-year-old has tested himself at the highest level, during
his time in the Bundesliga and with Basel; the Swiss has earned UEFA Champions
League experience.
In the main time, his game is significant of the
current Bayern Munich veteran pass-master Xabi Alonso. Alonso the 34-year-old
former Liverpool and Real Madrid man, the Swiss international can dictate games
from deep.
From Patrick Surlis of Sky Sports, it was make
known that his former national team boss Ottmar Hitzfeld offered him not the
same comparison. He instead viewed Swiss international as a younger version of
Bastian Schweinsteiger of Manchester United.
Whichever comparison anyone might favour,
Xhaka’s influence is noticeable in most games.
His skill for making himself both a conductor
and destroyer in the middle was well appreciated in the North London club.
The former Basel payer captained Gladbach to
the fourth position last summer. Xhaka has played four seasons at the
Bundesliga for the German club, making 108 appearances and bagging six goals.
Xhaka remains on among the exciting talents to watch out for at EURO 2015.
Some among the North London club also shared
the pleasure on Twitter over the singing of Xhaka. Some of the tweets are
