Arsenal eyeing up move for 71-goal super star striker

By means of the Granit Xhaka signing understood to be virtually completed, the North London club are still in need of couple of players away from having a squad that is skilled of earnestly competing in both domestically and in Europe next season.

However, one among the position that still needs addressing more is the ‘up front’.

A skilled and talented world class forward would will be able to made difference in tight games is still seriously being lack at the Emirates and Napoli Striker, Gonzalo Gerardo Higuain could fill that void in the squad.

More forwardly, the need for a replacement, countable striker has been obvious for ages. As far back as 2013, the Frenchman’s came very close to signing the Argentinean forward, Gonzalo Higuain, with the North London club bulked at Real £35million back then for the Argentinean, he joined Napoli instead.

Wenger simply cannot let another summer go without bringing in that kind of player to the Emirates.

Since his signing to the Italy side, Higuain has gone break quite many Serie A records and he has scored many incredible 36-league goals in just 35 games this season.

The Gunners will pay more than £35m this time around has precisely what Arsene Wenger’s side need most his the Argentinean forward lethal finishing which tremendously would change the Gunners squad.

The Frenchman campaign has not been a one off for Higuain though. Higuain, French-born striker has scored phenomenal 71-goals in 104 games since he has joined Napoli in 2013, whereas is record at the Los Blancos was also impressive as he has bagged 107-goals in 190 appearances.
In line for his incredible goal scoring at Napoli last season, Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly showing interest in the 28-year-old and, with these two high rated clubs involved, his inquiring price, should Napoli decide to sell him, is expected to exceed £40million.

“Despite the fact that I would prefer to see such a younger forward with tremendous scoring ability be signed to the Emirates, if the Argentinean is interested in joining, the North London club should be willing to pay £40m for his services.”

Arsenal and Wenger knows it that the 28-year-old goals can make all the difference for the Emirates even if only he can performs at his best for two or three seasons at the Emirates.

Olivier Giroud will turns 30 in September, so with this, the Frenchman may prefer to sign a younger alternative targets like Alvaro Morata or Michy Batshuayi.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic on the side, there are doubts that there would be any world class strikers on the market this summer – so if Wenger is serious about bring in the very best talent to the Emirates this season, he should be already by now be in negotiations with Napoli for the signing of Higuain.

Arsenal manager would have to consider whether he wants to build the squad for the future, or go all out for the title next season in other to appease his intolerant fans who are desperate for Arsenal to mount a serious challenge for the Premier League title.

However, neither would give the club the immediate burst of quality that Higuain could.
