Arsenal set to complete to signing of £34million Bundesliga midfielder


The North London club is set to complete the signing of the Borussia Monchengladbach star, Granit Xhaka before Euro 2016 after he has agreed to personal terms with the club, via the reports from Express.

Arsene Wenger’s side has seen the 23-year-old for several months and while Manchester City is the only current Premier League side to show interest in Xhaka, instead of the Pep Guardiola’s financial big shot, the player is pleased with a move to the Emirates Stadium.

Xhaka wants any deal completed before this summer’s tournament in France and Dick Law, the Chief transfer negotiator has already brought up an inspiring package for the Borussia Monchengladbach star, which is likely to agree with.

However, Gladbach are delaying a deal until they sign a replacement for their star midfielder and €30 million have been the least possible transfer fee for signing the Monchengladbach star, which the North London club have considered over for the past few weeks.

With the 23-year-old set to be the first arrival to the Emirates Stadium this summer, yet conversation between Arsenal and Bolton continue over the signing of Defendant Rob Holding.

When Arsenal wins over Aston Villa on Sunday, Wenger confirms that he expects Olivier Giroud starting next season as the squad primary striker, although his the Frenchman main concern in the coming transfer window will still be to strengthen his front line, with Juventus forward Alvaro Morata heavily linked.

Via reports from Express, Xhaka hinted yesterday about his move to the North London club is almost complete as he said his farewell to Monchengladbach.

Following his team 2-0 win over Darmstadt, the Swiss international said, “It may be that it is my last game."

“The seasons over now and there might be discussions tomorrow regarding the matter, we will make it together."

For the time being, Guardiola, the Sky Blues new boss has identified Jack Wilshere as one of main point of target this summer, but Arsenal in a while put a new deal on the table, which is the England international expected to sign after Euro 2016.
