Wolves 0-0 Arsenal (half time)

Just when you think VAR can't get any worse, it doesn't overturn one of the softest red cards ever.

Lewis-Skelly committed a tactical foul, which is a yellow card. No one is disputing that. However, he barely made contact. He made just enough to knock the opponent off balance.

Then the referee brandished a straight red card and everyone expected VAR to overturn it. Of course, that was never going to happen.

Studs touched the opponent above the ankle. That makes it 'dangerous', by the letter of the law, despite the lack of force. It was a glancing contact. The opponent wasn't injured.

It is the latest travesty of justice to blight Arsenal's season.

Aside from that, Havertz had a goal-bound header saved and one that went wide, but Arsenal do not look like champions-elect. Too many players are off-form for them to turn this game around.

Cunha doesn't look like the answer in the transfer market either, so at least lessons have been learned from the first half. The Brazilian's attitude is shocking.

Arsenal will have to pray for a Trossard miracle!
