Everton 0-0 Arsenal

With new management at Goodson Park, this was always going to be an accident waiting to happen with a possibility of derailing Arsenal's title challenge.

Calvert-Lewis, that old menace and nemesis went closest to scoring for the Blues, while at the other end, Nketiah managed to skip past a challenge only to fire off target, albeit with power.

Arsenal were sloppy at times, in possession, gifting the resurgent hosts the ball in a way that won't please Arteta or travelling Gooners.

Based on this first half, Arsenal lack a winning goal as, for all their possession, Everton carved out more chances.

The Gunners really need the injection of something different, or they will certainly be dropping points. With new signings like Jorginho and Trossard warming the bench, perhaps a shake-up is due to happen early in the second half.

Ramsdale 7 - catching some crosses, but not always dominating the area
White 6 - not always on the same wavelength as Saka
Saliba 7 - relatively solid
Gabriel 7 - demonstrated some fine control
Zinchenko 6 - not as influential as usual
Saka 7 - struggling to make an impact, but still a handful
Odegaard 6 - well chaperoned
Partey 6 - up and down, but not always effective
Martinelli 5 - not really fizzing
Nketiah 6 - not many chances, but looks sharp
