Wolves 0-2 Arsenal

This game was an accident waiting to happen with Wolves propping up the table and Arsenal at the other end, hoping to capitalise on Man City's slip-up at home to Brentford and go five points clear at the top.

With a new manager being introduced to the crowd before the start of the game, Wolves we're always going to be up for this game and, unsurprisingly, it proved to be the case.

Arsenal were sloppy and not moving the ball quickly enough in the first half, but after half time, they quickened their pace a little with Odegaard scoring two priceless goals to seal victory.

Quite how Arsenal managed to keep a clean sheet as well, given their vulnerability to counter-attacks is anyone's guess. Was it Wolves's poor finishing or was it Ramsdale's assured presence in goal? It's hard to say. Or was it a combination of both? Probably.

Whatever the reason, it augurs well for Arsenal's title charge if they can win away from home without playing particularly well.

Next up, West Ham at the Emirates on Boxing Day! Let's hope for another win!
