The youngest player in top flight history is now Ethan Nwaneri at 15-years-old and 180 days. Although the game was won by then, the boy looks a battler and unfazed at the idea of playing at this level.
Most impressive of all is Arsenal go back to the top of the league with this win and what a howitzer from Fabio Vieira. The Portugal U21 international didn't impress in the first half, but the second period gave the fans a better idea of what he's all about. He's good at nicking the ball off opponents and he's good at playing sharp simple passes. What's best about him is he has a ready-made song.
The strange thing about today was Brazil's nutty decision not to call up the three Gabriels. Anyway, their loss is Arsenal's gain.
