Arsenal manager, Arsene Wenger is understood to have
drawn up a shortlist of potential transfer targets.
Now, the Express is reporting that Arsenal have
submitted a £25million
offer for the Algerian international following his impressive performances for Leicester
City in the Premier League.
The same report goes on to say that, the Algerian
international has also attracted interest from other clubs in recent weeks.
The north London club officials reportedly met up
with the winger's representatives a number of times to make sure he's open to
the move before tabling a bid.
The Algerian international's fine form has attracted
interest from Arsenal and Barcelona, with
reports suggesting both clubs are lining up bids for his services this summer.
Arsenal manager is also keen to sign Mahrez's teammate
Jamie Vardy and last week made a £20m bid to trigger the 29-year-old's release
clause.
However, Express Sport understands
Vardy, who netted 24 goals this season, is not prepared to make a decision on
his future until after his Euro 2016 campaign with England.

ReplyDeleteIt would be great to have Maharez at arsenal in addition to Vardy and Mikhataryn. That definitely a title winning side.
