Highly desirable Arsenal star confirms to stay with club

Arsenal star, Mesut Ozil has confirmed his commitment to the Gunners and says he’s happy to continue his stay at the Emirates under Arsene Wenger, who he has ranks as one of the ‘best managers in history’.

Ozil has delayed his contract talks for a second time with Arsenal and will wait unit after Euro 2016 to discuss his future with the north London club.

The 27-year-old player maker for the Wenger’s side in 2013 for a club record of £42.5million and ever since then he has experienced his best season to date at the Emirates under the Frenchman last term.

The Frenchman has come under huge pressure from the Gunners fans in recent months after his side relented in the title run-in to Leicester City.

However, the German is keen for Wenger to stay at the club and insists what he’s done for the Gunners means he’s one of the greatest managers in the history of football.

‘At Arsenal, Arsène Wenger has shown that he is one of the best managers in history,’Ozil told France Football.”

‘He has revolutionized the club and created magnificent success. I am proud and aware of the luxury I have of working for such a coach.”

‘His simple discourse immediately seduced me when I was asking questions about my future in the summer of 2013. He chose the perfect words to convince me. The great strength that Wenger has is he knows how to talk to his players.”

The 27-year-old German has been linked with a move back to La Liga this summer with Barcelona but Ozil insist he’s only focused at Arsenal after a good season at the Emirates.

‘On the pitch, I am always enjoying myself. I am lucky to play in the best league in the world and to be a certain starter at one of the best English clubs,’ continued Ozil.

‘In the Premier League, my enjoyment is very high. As long as I am in perfect physical condition.”

In view of my opinion, Ozil is a fast, resourceful, and practical player; he excels in an advanced play-making role, as a winger on either flank, or as an attacking midfielder through the centre of the pitch.
