The North London club have told the Italian club side, Roma
that they will be paying the sum of £15m in they are willing to permanent the
deal of the Arsenal goalkeeper loaned to the club, Wojeciech Szczesny.
The Szczesny has spent the past season on loan at the Roma
and has showed exceedingly great performances making 42 appearances and keeping
nine clean sheet.
The Poland international has declared that he would be
willing to remain at Roma next season, the Gunners are also eager in extending
his contract deal with the Seria A club for another year before his return to
the Emirates for the 2017/18 campaign.
As per the reports from the Gazzetta Dello Sport, the Seria
A club side also have intent in signing the Poland international on a permanent
deal should Arsenal consider selling him, however, it seems the club has led
off their hands on the Poland international due to the price tag the Gunners
has laid on him.
The Serie A club is enthusiastic about negotiating a lower
offer of £10m with Arsenal for Szczesny.
Possibly, if the both club could not reach considerable
agreement, Roam would rather focus their attention to signing the Brazillian
goalkeeper, Alisson Inter Milan goalkeeper.
27, October, 2010, Szczesny made his second appearance for
the North London club in the League Cup, he keep a clean sheet against
Newscastle United at St. James’ Part and has stopped numerous attempt from
Newcastle players.
He singed for a long-term contract in 2010 with the North London
club and has made the Poland international has made 181 appearances for the
North London club since then.
