Club Manager on the verge of signing £25m star player

Reports has made confirm that West Ham are on the verge of signing Arsenal Winger Theo Walcott, out-of-favour player frustrated over his inability to be listed in the first-team.

The Arsenal Manager, Arsene Wenger plans on overhauling of the gunners squad this coming season, has grown exasperation with the England forward’s form, with the team manager making it clear that Walcott has not yet developed as expected and he would be allowed to leave the Emirates if perhaps he considers leaving.

Walcott has had to pass through a challenging season due to injuries and unpredictability, which has result into adequate appearances.

The Sun reports that the Hammers are maneuvering to lure the Gunners with £20 million offer the 27-year-old.

His progress has seriously been slowed down by injuries and as such, he has go head over heels down the pecking order with Olivier Giroud, Danny Welbeck, Alexis Sanchez and Alex Iwobi all chosen ahead of him.

Steven Bilic, The Hammers manager, reportedly has a transfer budget of £50 million to spend this summer in the direction of refurbishment of the squad as they are getting prepared in moving Olympic Stadium their new base this summer, and Bilic has plans to splash 40 percent of that on the procurement of Walcott.

The Hammers co-chairman said:

"We've put a bid in today for 30million Euros for a player, and other bids will be going in.
"We're going to make a £20m or £25m bid for a player in England later this week.

“Whatever happens we intend to bring a top striker in. "We're hoping to bring in one or two top players.”

“The Olympic Stadium gives us about £12m a year in extra income. It doesn't give us £100m a year in extra income"

Independent News had it that Manchester City and Chelsea Fc has also been linked with a move for the England International at the beginning of this season, however, West Ham in their bid in breaking into the top-four, has convinced the England forward to move to a rival team where he can assume more first-team chances instead of staying at the two interested clubs in need of his services.

Walcott who has also been under Man City close watch is reportedly expected to be leaving the Emirates Stadium this summer in search of regular football, which in thus will be bringing an end of his 10-year-relationship with the Gunners.

Real Madrid Lucas Vascuqez and Borussia Mondglabach Granit Xhaka has reportedly been linked with the Gunners boss as possible replacements for the former Southampton player.

Walcott joined the North-London club from Southampton for£25m deal in 2006, he has made 231 striking and outstanding appearances and has scored 85-goals in all competitions, winning the FA Cup twice with the club.

On the other hand, the feelings at the Emirates presently, it is believed that the England international has failed to reach the expected heights that he was supporsed to hit when he made his debut fot the North London club in August, 2006, and at the moment, there has been growing discontent among the Gunners fans with the England international over his inconsistency performances.
