Arsenal eager to sign La Liga star, he’s keen on moving to the Premier League

Arsenal are reportedly to be spending the total sum of £80 million at the opening of this transfer summer window in reshaping the workouts of the Gunner squad.

The Gunners having toss away their best chance of claiming the Premier League title this season and extreme criticism has been over the Gunners manager over his failure in signing an outfield player last summer.

According to the Spanish media El Confidencial, Arsenal are ready to battle Man City in the race to sign Real Madrid star James Rodriguez.

James 24-year-old, moved to the Los Blancos from Monaco in 2014 for a fee worth sum of £60 million after an inspiring outing with Colombia in the World Cup in Brazil.

Conversely, the former Porto forward has been fighting back to reproduce his stunning stellar performances he has displayed in his debut season this term and there are rumors that he is likely not to be part of the Spanish giant’s campaigns for the future after being ignored by both the former boss Rafa Benitez and current coach Zinedine Zidane.

Manchester City and Arsenal has per the reports from The Sun via Spanish newspaper El Confidencial reported that the two teams are prepared to part with around £60 million to land the Colombian.

As per the reports from Bleacher Reports, they tells that Rodriguez is supposedly house hunting in Manchester, in advance of a possible move this summer to the Premier League.

The Local rivals Manchester City and Manchester United are reportedly to be intense on signing the Real attacking midfielder.

For that reason, it is understandable that even if the reports are to be true that Rodriguez will be departing from the Los Blancos side this summer to the Premier League, I personally think he will only want to move to a club playing in the Champions League next season, which in thus would be giving Arsenal an edge over there Premier League rival Man City.

As Welbeck will be out of action for nine months, missing the EURO 2016 and the first half of next season, Olivier Giroud has been linked with German club Wolfsburg, leaving Arsenal with Alex Iwobi and Alexis Sanchez to lead the attack and with the uncertainty of Juventus and Bayern Munich on the trail of signing Alexis Sanchez the Colombian could be a perfect replacement for the Chilean.
Not to be forgotten is also that the North London are ready to step up the chase in signing Xhaka as agreement between the two clubs are said to be in the cards as £30 million bid has already been submitted for Xhaka who could cost up towards the said amount.

In the intervening time, Jordan Lukaku, younger brother Romelu Lukaku, Everton Striker conveyed his interest in playing in the Premier League as he declared himself being an Arsenal fan.
Speaking to the Set Pieces, the Belgium International has had an identical season with his Belgium club, Oostende which he joined in 2014 through the academy at Anderlecht. He said to the Set Pieces that;

"Do I see myself as Premier League- bound?  "I don't know, but it's a league that would suit me.”
”I have always been a fan of Arsenal, but I am mad about every Premier League club as long as the club doesn't have to fight against relegation.”

The 21-year-old left-back currently ply his trade with Belgium club Oostende-which he joined in 2014- having coming through the academy at Anderlecht.

With the unpredictability and doubt that surrounds the Gunners over Kieran Gibbs coming future at the Emirates, Jordan Lukaku could be an ultimate replacement for the Englishman and a substitute for first-choice Nacho Monreal at the Emirates.

James has made 31 appearances for Real this season,  but has always been left on the bench for key matches . It is also reported via Express that the Colombia international has find it very difficult at the Bernabeu this season, as he has fall out of favour from the the Los Blancos boss Zinedine Zidane.

  1. This analysis is very good but the conclusion could be better as Real Madrid is one of the clubs that are interested on Sanchez ant will make easier for Arsenal to Swap Sanchez for James Rodriguez and any other details can be worked out between the two club and it will be good deal for both sides. James is a world class player and Arsenal should push ahead with the deal since Sanchez is not very happy to stay .
