Arsenal starlet admitted "happy" to hear from former club

The North London club defender, Hector Bellerin Moruno has been linked with a move away from the Emirates Stadium this summer.

The 21-year-old highly talented Spanish now appears to be a target for his former club, Barcelona and Manchester United including high interests from top clubs with the likes of Chelsea, and PSG.

On 30 May, the Spanish born was selected to start for the Gunners in the 2015 FA CUP Final; he helped the team keep a clean sheet in 4 – 0 win over Aston Villa at the Wembley Stadium.

By means of Barcelona set to let go of Dani Alves this summer, the Spanish champions could make a move for Arsenal’s tremendously talented right back and he thinks the interest from these clubs is ‘nice’.

According to reports from Bleacher Reports, Bellerin has admitted he’s “happy” to hear from former club Barcelona are linked with a transfer move for the full-back, he said that when the time comes, he would think about the interests from other clubs and that his agent is concerned with these matters.

He said, "Well, the truth is that right know this does not interest me because I focus on the national team. For those things I have an agent who deals with off-the-field issues," the Arsenal star said.

"When you have a good season, always news like this emerges. I am very misinformed about it, these are questions for my agent, but I am happy to attract the interest of such big clubs, that's always nice."

"I have said it before: I am very happy where I am and I do not think about anything else than the national team."

However, when questioned whether he would think through a return to Barcelona in the future, he answered: 

"The things, until they come, you never know what to do, my agent does this job."

In addition, speaking about the potential departure of Dani Alves from the Camp Nou, he added,

"I do not know very well what's happening at Barcelona. If Alves leaves they will need a new right-back but there are a lot of good players around Europe."

Since his move from Barcelona to the Emirates Stadium in the summer of 2011, the 21-year-old has established himself as one best young right-backs in Europe ever since, impressing with his remarkable contributions to the passing game.

He is not included in the Spain’s UEFA Euro 2016 team, although, Bellerin is widely considered a future great, and player who already ranks among the Premier League’s best full backs.

According to both reports from Sport and Mundo Deportivo, they claim that Barcelona have earmarked the Gunners’ starlet as the man to fill the gap should Dani Alves finally leave Camp Nou this summer.

Spanish publications claim that any deal will not be easy as per the Sport, the Gunners will demand at least €40m (£30.4m, $45m) for Bellerin move to Camp Nou.

Mundo Deportivo also added that the competition to secure the 21-year-old services will be forceful, as Bayern Munich, Manchester City, Manchester United, Chelsea, and PSG are interested signing the Spaniard.
In other news, the Gunners have submitted an offer for Duvan Zapata, Napoli striker. Zapata has scored 8 times in 25 appearances this season and currently, he is on a two-year loan at Udinese.

The club president confirmed Arsenal’s bid for him and that the Napoli can recall the player early.

He said, “There is a clause that allows Napoli to recall him early from the two-year loan”

 “He is very happy in Udine, his agent said that too, and I hope he can remain with our jersey.”

“He also received many offers from abroad, including from Arsenal. However, first we want Coach Beppe Iachini to get to know the team so they can make shared decisions.” He added.

The North London club has been previously linked with moves for several strikers including Morata, Higuain and Lewandowski.
