The North London club
defender, Hector Bellerin Moruno has been linked with a move away from
the Emirates Stadium this summer.
The 21-year-old highly
talented Spanish now appears to be a target for his former club, Barcelona and
Manchester United including high interests from top clubs with the likes of Chelsea,
and PSG.
On 30 May, the Spanish born
was selected to start for the Gunners in the 2015 FA CUP Final; he helped the
team keep a clean sheet in 4 – 0 win over Aston Villa at the Wembley Stadium.
By means of Barcelona set to
let go of Dani Alves this summer, the Spanish champions could make a move for
Arsenal’s tremendously talented right back and he thinks the interest from
these clubs is ‘nice’.
According
to reports from Bleacher Reports, Bellerin has admitted he’s “happy” to hear
from former club Barcelona are linked with a transfer move for the full-back,
he said that when the time comes, he would think about the interests from other
clubs and that his agent is concerned with these matters.
He
said, "Well, the truth is that right
know this does not interest me because I focus on the national team. For those
things I have an agent who deals with off-the-field issues," the Arsenal
star said.
"When you have a good
season, always news like this emerges. I am very misinformed about it, these
are questions for my agent, but I am happy to attract the interest of such big
clubs, that's always nice."
"I have said it before:
I am very happy where I am and I do not think about anything else than the
national team."
However,
when questioned whether he would think through a return to Barcelona in the
future, he answered:
"The things, until they come, you never know what to
do, my agent does this job."
In
addition, speaking about the potential departure of Dani Alves from the Camp Nou, he added,
"I do not know very well what's happening at Barcelona. If
Alves leaves they will need a new right-back but there are a lot of good
players around Europe."
Since
his move from Barcelona to the Emirates Stadium in the summer of 2011, the 21-year-old
has established himself as one best young right-backs in Europe ever since,
impressing with his remarkable contributions to the passing game.
He
is not included in the Spain’s UEFA Euro 2016 team, although, Bellerin is
widely considered a future great, and player who already ranks among the Premier
League’s best full backs.
According to both reports
from Sport and Mundo Deportivo, they claim that Barcelona have earmarked the
Gunners’ starlet as the man to fill the gap should Dani Alves finally leave Camp Nou this summer.
Spanish publications claim
that any deal will not be easy as per the Sport, the Gunners will demand at
least €40m (£30.4m, $45m) for Bellerin move to Camp Nou.
Mundo Deportivo also added
that the competition to secure the 21-year-old services will be forceful, as
Bayern Munich, Manchester City, Manchester United, Chelsea, and PSG are
interested signing the Spaniard.
In other news, the Gunners
have submitted an offer for Duvan Zapata, Napoli striker. Zapata has scored 8
times in 25 appearances this season and currently, he is on a two-year loan at
Udinese.
The club president confirmed Arsenal’s bid for him and that the Napoli
can recall the player early.
He
said, “There is a clause that allows
Napoli to recall him early from the two-year loan”
“He is very happy in Udine, his agent said
that too, and I hope he can remain with our jersey.”
“He also received many offers
from abroad, including from Arsenal. However, first we want Coach Beppe Iachini
to get to know the team so they can make shared decisions.” He added.
The
North London club has been previously linked with moves for several strikers
including Morata, Higuain and Lewandowski.
