Higuain's transfer to Arsenal moves milimetres closer

Real Madrid striker Gonzalo Higuain is getting closer to an Arsenal transfer. But no deal just yet. More on it below:

So to recap on Higuain then, the Argentinian international could actually move now that Carlo Ancelotti has become Real Madrid's new boss. Plus Carlos Tevez has been signed by Juventus, who were also chasing Higuain. So now there is just one possible destination for Arsenal isn't there?

Erm, no! Spurs could scupper the deal, according to some sources, who say Gareth Bale could move to Real Madrid in a swap deal that will will see Higuain plus cash head to White Hart Lane.

Well, I'll be surprised if that happens. Personally, I think we'll get Higuain. He won't be cheap: a £22m transfer fee plus wages of £150,000 per week.

Another expensive deal could go through, according to the bookies, who say we'll get Marouane Fellaini for £24m. I'm not sure what the delay is about, but he would maker us title contenders, I reckon.
