A lacklustre first half was what Arsenal served up. They lacked the incision to make something from their dominance. Everton seemed content to hit Arsenal on the break.
Odegaard and Martinelli managed to force Pickford to make a couple of routine saves, but apart from those chances Everton looked untroubled.
Lewis-Skelley put in a confident first 45 minutes and Gabriel was impressive after returning from injury. However, Arsenal will need the rest of the team to step up if they're to take all three points from this clash.
