Man City 2-2 Arsenal

There's no justice in football. Arsenal take a point, but the Gunners' effort deserved more.

Haaland opened the scoring and there seemed to be no way back.

Calafiori, making his debut, had different ideas, curling in a brilliant equaliser from Martinelli's low cut back.

Arsenal began to dominate and got their just desserts, when Gabriel nodded in a Saka corner.

Then mayhem ensued with Trossard getting a second yellow card for kicking the ball away. To make matters worse the referee made the decision when he should have already blown up for half time. As well as that, Trossard may not have heard the whistle, especially as the offence didn't look like an obvious foul. It is becoming quite apparent that Arsenal are being held accountable to another set of rules.

The referee, Michael Oliver, added on enough extra time in the second half so City could equalise through John Stones. It doesn't feel like justice.

Like a friend of mine said today: 'Money is ruining the game.' It's not a level playing field. Arsenal have to beat the officials as well as the opposition.

Rich clubs get all the luck or is it something else? I'll let you make your own minds up.

Arsenal, meanwhile, will have their work cut out now with injuries and suspensions. However, no one can question the team's fighting spirit.
