Fulham 1-1 Arsenal (half time)

Arsenal fans may be preparing for another disappointing result, after the first 45 minutes at Craven Cottage.

As usual, refereeing decisions seemed to go the way of the opponents mostly, with Arsenal, in particular Saka and Odegaard, getting very little protection.

The Gunners started quite brightly, when Martinelli's cross from a counter attack found its way to Saka, who spooned the ball into the net from close range.

Fulham hit back with Raul grabbing an equaliser from a left wing cross.

The Gunners were largely unconvincing in the first half and created fewer chances than Fulham.

Havertz looked relatively assured, in his first game back after his suspension, so Arsenal fans will hope he can manage a goal on his return to the first team.
