Penalties are an awful way to decide who will silverware, but no one has thought of a better solution.
Odegaard starts. A long run-up, but perfectly despatched.

Trossard is next up. He stares. He puts it in the corner, sending the keeper the wrong way.

Now Saka steps up. No run up, but he makes it 3-1 with strange footwork!
Rodri can't afford to miss, but Ramsdale guesses correctly to his right to save the scuffed effort.
Fabio Vieira now. 4-1? I doubt it. I wouldn't bank my house on it, but he curls in the perfect penalty. This is what you call a winning mentality, and who would have thought it? Not me! No keeper could have saved Vieira's effort.
One thing is sure: Arsenal will win silverware. They've already done it. Well done Arsenal and well done Arteta and the boys! It's unbelievable, but they deserved it. They were the better side. The Emirates Cup and now the Community Shield. Which trophy will be next?
