After beating Palace away with a solitary penalty strike from Odegaard, the Arsenal faithful were hoping for more of the same in the second London 'derby' of the season.
Indeed, Odegaard did find the net again, but it was ruled out for offside.
Even worse was Arsenal's stuttering start to the game with Fulham taking the lead following a misplaced sloppy Saka pass after 7 seconds.
Leno, in the Fulham goal, dealt with everything that Arsenal threw at him, as did the defenders in front of him.
Although Rice looked sharp, too few of his teammates did, so it was no surprise that Arsenal went in at the break trailing by one goal to nil.
