Leicester 0-1 Arsenal

It takes incredible character to go away from home and more or less silence the locals, as well as coping with poor officiating.

Martinelli's strike early in the second half came too quickly for the officials to find some way to disallow it, so it stood. However, the goalscorer was lucky he could stand and play on after an x-rated challenge, but Arsenal don't get protection from referees.

Of course, VAR managed to disallow a second-half goal from Saka to maintain their record of super-bodging decision-making.

Arteta deserves some credit too for some well-timed substitutions to end any chance of a Foxes revival, which seemed possible when the officials inexplicably added 5 minutes of injury time.

Everton are next up, and Arsenal need to inflict revenge on the only team to beat them in the league in this calendar year.
