Arsenal 1-1 Man U

'On a knife edge,' said a commentator at half-time, as the Arsenal locomotive came to close to a standstill by their lofty standards against a resolute Man U team.

Rashford's wondergoal from long range fired United in front, only for Xhaka to pick out Nketiah at the far post for an equaliser.

Despite Arsenal's 19 touches in the opposition box compared to United's 2, the visitors looked dangerous.

Arsenal's passing looked a little bit off, generally, so perhaps the Gunners will be glad to take a point, if that's the way it turns out.

Perhaps Arsenal will need to throw on new signing Trossard to make a telling difference.

Ramsdale 7 - distribution shaky, at times
White 7 - finding Rashford tricky
Saliba 7 - solid
Gabriel 7 - looks like he'll get booked and then suspended
Zinchenko 8 - different class
Saka 7 - struggling to make the usual huge impact expected
Odegaard 8 - took a knock in the back, but more touches than anyone
Partey 7 - mostly keeping things ticking over
Xhaka 8 - great assist
Martinelli 6 - not getting much change out of the right back
Nketiah 8 - hungry for goals
