Half-time ratings v Orlando

Playing American opponents is no longer a pre-season easy option. Ask Chelsea and Everton, both of whom recorded disappointing results against their trans-Atlantic cousins!

1st half line-up
Ramsdale 6 - made one good save with his feet, but conceded one. Although the shot was about 25-yards out, it was hard to save, going right in the corner. He may have had some stick for it, but even Leno wouldn't have saved that!

Cedric 6 - didn't do anything amazing, but didn't make any glaring errors.

Holding 6 - got booked, but competed well.

Mari 5 - passed well, but jogged back. Doesn't look 100% focussed.

Tavares 6 - good going forward, but suspect positionally. Saved a certain goal though, when sweeping up.

Pepe 5 - tried quite hard, but struggled to combine with Maitland-Niles.

Maitland-Niles 4 - couldn't really impact on the game, as his passing was sloppy and his fitness questionable (evidence: pulling an opponent's shirt for no particular reason).

Elneny 6 - quite solid, if unspectacular.

Lokonga 5 - didn't make much of an impression, as doesn't look suited to playing so far forward on the left.

Martinelli 7 - scored a goal, which took a wicked deflection and was a constant thorn in Orlando's side.

Nketiah 7 - totally tireless, literally chasing everything and went close to adding a second Arsenal goal.
